Take Action – Now

If you are anything like me, you’ve spent hours-days-weeks and months reading about personal finance thinking that you should take action and become one of the success stories. I put financial responsibility off for too long, and it created extra hurdles that I hope readers can avoid (See “Student Loans”). These days I am a personal finance enthusiast, and am going to start posting my findings on this site. I am by no means the expert and welcome insights, ideas, comments and anything else you feel would help other people “take control” in the comment section at the end of each post.

Some personal views:

  • There is no “one size fits all” approach
  • There is no better time than NOW to start
  • Definition of “Financial success” is completely up to the individual (looking forward to hearing what it means to you!)
  • Apathy steals success

What you can expect to read in the upcoming posts:

  • Student loan debt
  • How to start investing
  • Where you should put your money
  • Emergency funds
  • Getting/staying out of debt
  • Home buying
  • Career path
  • Savings Rates
  • Anything else that catches my eye in the personal finance world

This site will primarily focus on personal finance – but will sway into other areas that steal your ambitions and prevent you from enjoying life. Please send me any ideas you have!
